There are two pubs to choose from in Castleton. The Eskdale is a Michelin recommended country pub within walking distance and another delightful pub, The Downe Arms, is just a 10 minute walk away. The Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge, a 10 minute drive away offers fabulous pub grub with scenic views over the valleys of Rosedale and Farndale. There are many other eateries to choose from in the surrounding area and coastal towns.

The Eskdale Castleton

The Eskdale Castleton is the nearest eatery to Park Nook Cottages. It has a beer garden, great for sociable Summer evenings, and features a cosy, wooden interior. Serving local produce, there is lots to choose from on the menu: from 'Beer battered fish and triple cooked chips', to 'Hoisin & sesame seed pork tenderloin'.

The Downe Arms

The Downe Arms Inn is a slightly further away, however still within walking distance. The pub is dog friendly, with a beer garden overlooking the North York Moors, and a comfortable, snug-like decor.

The Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge is a 10 minute drive away and offers fabulous pub grub with scenic views over the valleys of Rosedale and Farndale.
